Bhatkal: 23 Feb. 21 (Bhatkallys News Beaurau) This morning, in the yard of a house on Mohiddin Street in Bhatkal Madina Colony, where the occupants were declared fugitives, a car with a Maharashtra number plate along with wild animal meat was found. The vehicle was, however, taken into custody by officials of the forest department and questioning began.

The vehicle occupants were returning from hunting wild buffaloes in the forests of Honnavar and Gersoppa, according to forest officials, when they received a tip-off that they began to run blindly when they tried to stop the car. After which they entered Madina Colony from Tengin Gundi Cross and halted at Mohiddin Street and fled. In this respect, the occupants of the house near the vehicle were also taken into custody by the officials of the forest department for questioning. It is not clear yet, however, who these individuals were and where they came from.

The car found outside the residence has nothing to do with it, according to locals, so it is not right to threaten family members at all.

More than 100 kg of wild buffalo meat has been confirmed to have been found in the car.
