New Delhi: Country’s biggest lender, State Bank of India (SBI) launched a new facility, ‘work from home’. In this facility, employees can work from home up to 5 days a month or even for a longer duration after the approval of Competent Authority.

According to the news published in ‘One India’, this facility is available for the job which can be done remotely.

In order to address the productivity of the employee and the security of the bank, specific metrics have also been placed. A job which requires access to ‘Core Banking Solution’ is not covered under this facility due to security concerns. Even employees who want avail this facility and whose job profile allows working remotely, need to submit work report at the end of the Work from Home duration.

Although this facility allows employees to work from home, it denies all other allowances.
