40-year-old rickshaw driver dies after suffering heart attack while riding auto in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A 40-year-old auto-rickshaw driver in Mangaluru died after suffering from a heart attack while riding his auto on Friday here in the city.

The deceased auto-driver has been identified as Mohammed Haneef (40).

According to the reports, Haneef was heading towards Thokottu from the city when the incident took place. Haneef was reportedly taking a vegetable trader to Global Market in Kallapu when he suffered from a heart attack.

Haneef then lost control over his vehicle and rammed the rickshaw into a footpath on National Highway near Jeppinamogaru.

Locals tried to help Haneef and were trying to rush him to the hospital when he breathed his last near Nethravathi Bridge.

A case in this regard has been registered at Kankanady Police Station in this regard.
