Three teenagers rescued by life guards at Murdeshwar beach

Murdeshwar 15 December 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Life Guards here at Murdeshwar beach saved lives of three teenagers when they were washed away by the high tides of the sea here on Friday December 14, morning.

The victims have been identified as Prajwal Suresh (17), Prajwal Shivanna (16) and Ullas Shrinivas (16), all residents of Hasan District.

As per sources, the trio along with other friends had come to Murdeshwar for picnicking. However, as they went into waters for swimming at the Murdeshwar beach, they were washed away by the high tides of the sea. Alert life guards immediately swung into action after noticing them drowning and rescued all the three of them and brought them back to the shores.

They were then taken to Murdeshwar police station for formalities and then were let go.

Life guards Shekhar Devadiga and Shridhar Naik were part of the rescue operation that took place under the supervision of beach Supervisior Narashima Moger.
