Bhatkal: Taluka’s retired teachers honored

Murdeshwar 12 September 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Lions Club of Murdeshwar on Tuesday organised “Guru Vandana” program to honor the retired teachers of Bhatkal Taluka here at Murdeshwar.

The Program was welcomed by Secretary Nagesh Bhat while president of the club Nagaraj Bhat spoke about the importance of teachers in the society and how they play an important role in the development and growth of the society.

The retired teachers including Smt. Premabai Krishna Shet, Smt.Savita Shet, Shri. R.V. Achari, Shri. Muhammed Ilayaz, Shri. Abdul Raheman were honoured during the event.

Dr.R.R. Bhat, Dr. Sunil Jatan, Dr. Wadiraj Bhat, Dr. Hariprasad Kini, AS Shetty, Thilak Rao, Subbaraya Naik, Vishwanath Kamat, Bostayv  D’Costa, Philip Almeda, Dayanand Menasinamane, Krishna Hegde, Jagadish Jain and others were also present during the event.
