Bhatkal: Police on high alert as cases of thefts in Bhatkal rise, asks residents to inform when they lock house

Bhatkal: October 27, 2020 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal police have taken an important step to curb thefts that have been taking place in the urban & suburb areas of Bhatkal for the past two days.

The Bhatkal Police Department has issued a press statement saying that if anyone locks his house and goes somewhere, he should inform the police at the earliest opportunity and provide the location of his house and other necessary information on the following numbers so that this house can be on surveillance.

4) Police Sub Inspector Murudeshwar Police Station 9480805253

It may be recalled that in Bhatkal taluka, robbery took place in Murudeshwar, Firdous Nagar and Kidwai Road yesterday and in these incidents of robbery, it was seen that the occupants of the house had gone out, which the thieves took advantage and made-off by stealing valuables from house.
