Elections for Legislative Council to be held on October 28

Bhatkal: 8 October 2020 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) MLC elections are going to be held on October 28 in the district this year for the western graduate constituency of Karnataka, for which the Electoral Code of Conduct will be applicable till November 5 and any public. The ban on the meeting will remain. This was reported by Bhatkal Tehsildar Ravi Chandra while talking to reporters.

He said that the number of graduate voters in Bhatkal this time is 997. Tehsildar said that today was the last date for submission of nomination papers on October 8, while the papers would be examined tomorrow and nomination papers could be withdrawn by October 12.

It should be noted that these elections are held to elect the members of the Legislative Council in which the graduates are elected. To participate in this election, one has to submit a nomination form to the Dharwar Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
