Legal action taken by Jali Pattan Panchayat against a shop on Jali Road due to lack of documents

Bhatkal: October 22, 2020 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal Jali Pattan Panchayat took legal action against a chicken shop located on Jali Road this morning and closed it.

According to the report, the shop owner had not paid the shop tax for many years and the license of the shop had not been issued. A Pattan Panchayat official told Bhatkallys that the shop owner was sent two notices in this regard but due to lack of initiative, the shop was closed down today in the presence of Bhatkal Collector Ravi Chandra and Pattan Panchayat Chief Officer Ajay Bhandarkar.

It has been reported that after this operation, the shop owner completed all the documents after which a clean chit has been issued for the shop by the panchayat.

Anwar Ahmed Baloor, Vinayak Naik and other panchayat officials were present during the operation.
