Election Code of Conduct: Bhatkal TMC takes down political ads and banners in town

Bhatkal 12 March 2019:(Bhatkallys News Bureau) As the election code of conduct has come it into effect for the upcoming Lok Sabha election, a drive to remove flex boards, banners and other posters promoting political parties and individuals was conducted by the officials of Bhatkal Town Municipality Council across the Taluka here on Monday, 11 March.

After the poll dates were announced, authorities ordered the removal of all political flex boards all over the country. In this regard, the TMC employees on Monday morning were seen removing banners and boards which were publicly displayed in different parts of the town.
