Bhatkal boy bags first prize in Qirath competition at Ullal

Ismail Nameer, a 10-year old boy hailing from Bhatkal and a resident of Mangaluru bagged first place in Qirath competition held in Ullal on Sunday, February 9. The event was organised by Muslim Sisters Ullal and was held at Sila Boutique, Nafisa Garden, Subhash Nagar in Ullal.
Nameer, a 4th grade student at Barakah International School, participated in the event category of age group 10-15 and bagged first place in the category.
 
He received a cash prize and a winner’s trophy for bagging the first prize in the competition.
Nameer S/O Nisar Ahmed Ruknuddin, is also a martial arts enthusiast and has bagged several state, national and Asia level events and medal in Karate.
